sdesign1 specialises in standards compliant CMS's and making CMS's that aren't compliant, produce content that passes the W3C guidelines. We aim to ensure that the CMS has a simple to use interface and allows site owners to add content to their site without creating barriers to people or devices. We have significant expertise with Drupal, Joomla, WordPress and Umbraco.
The Framework of choice for windows platforms, .Net 2 has been used by sdesign1 in a number of projects working with Content Management Systems.
If your platform is Linux then sdesign1 brings a wealth of expertise to bear. We have used PHP widely for projects such as training modules, content management systems and surveys.
We use flash to deliver cross platform video and audio - far more effective and far more accessible than a Windows media player/Quicktime choice. We bring considerable expertise to bear in terms of accessibility and take advantage of all the new features of Flash that allow alternative text & keyboard tabbing. If you have flash content and want it to be made accessible we can do it.
We write standards compliant code and use CSS to separate content from presentation which makes for a consistent easy to manage layout. We pay particular attention to the quality of our code to ensure maximum performance of the web site across multiple platforms.
